A Cowboy starts herding Internet Traffic
There is a starting place for anything that ever existed. Well okay that whole Universe thing with the no beginning and no end has Its own thing going, but that is not where I am headed. Let this be an online journal of how things are going for my online internet business.
So this is the beginning of this adventure! I came into online network marketing by the thinnest of threads. Reading a post in a forum Called THE SECRET I found a link to a way to actually own my own domain and make money from it. In learning how to set up my web page and market it I found out about social networking, viral advertising, opt-in lists, drip campaigns, splash pages, back end products,affiliate marketing….. Folks I am a fourth generation cowboy from Montana. I worked next to my Dad from 8 years old to when I left for college. None of these new words were even on the horizon back then and now it looks like mastering each one of these is what is about to generate my lagacy for my two kids.
For this to be successful I knew I needed to make a plan of ACTION. So I set up my web page first. That is when I found out I needed to learn at least a little bit about a language called HTML Next I learned that I needed to “drive traffic” to my website. Sorta like herding cattle, which I DO know how to do. Gather all the lke minded people, and give them a direction that offers them solutions to their challenges
That is when my reading offered my first true diamond of wisdom: to be the most successful, whatever you offer must have value for others. The more value you offer in solutions, or leadership, or training then the more successful you become. This is HUGE. My dad said the same thing years ago and it still applies in this high tech world.
So you are encouraged you watch this grow, day by day week by week, year by year. It is my full intent to build the legacy for my kids by offering that value to those who seek it out. In a few weeks I will put up a chronicle of the success that this all is doing. Come on back when you need more information and direction.
